Just a note, I'm not sure what you consider to be very expensive, but at
the moment blank DVDs actually on sale (have been for a week or two).
Right on the front page (http://www.intrex.net/) - 10 packs - Buy two
get one free. I actually heard a rumor today though, that some people
have had reliability / coaster issues with them, and since I'm rather
stocked for DVD-Rs at the moment I have yet to purchase any. Anyone
else have any practical experience to share?
Just to be fair, I poked CompUSA's website real quick to compare
prices. The best deal I could find was on unknown or CompUSA brand
DVD-Rs in pack sizes from 25 to 50 which were approximately $1 a piece
(same basic price as at Intrex). Note that those were 1x discs, not 4x
discs. The ones we have at Intrex I'm fairly sure are KHypermedia or
some other off-brand, but are 4x as opposed to 1x, and at the same
cost. Is there some in-store special or particular bundle deal from
CompUSA that I'm overlooking?
