I should have said that I'm running CUPS version 1.1.19-13 on Fedora
Core 1.  I'd be willing to upgrade or switch to a different print server
software if it would help with this goal, but in general the CUPS
control panel would work very well for what I need to do, except for not
showing the number of pages.
