Of course you could do like me and get an old HP LaserJet 3. It just
works!
And yes, all JetDirects use 9100 unless you specify it. The newer
jetdirect servers have a little web menu that you can set that up. My
machines at home print to 192.168.ip.add:9100. Prints fine. Cups set it
up wonderfully!
