Glenn's suggestion of using /etc/aliases is much simpler if you're only 
dealing with one domain.  The only advantage to my suggestion of 
virtusertable style functionality over /etc/aliases is that you can 
handle multiple domains with conflicting usernames more gracefully.  If 
you only have one domain to worry about, I'd suggest sticking with the 
/etc/aliases setup, it's definetly easier to config and is a more 
well-defined standard setup from mail server to mail server.
