I plan on going this exact route any day now, as Bellsouth has finally 
lost me as a customer. They screwed up my forwarding message when I 
moved, and its now Day Four and they still can't make this simple 
adjustment.

With Asterisk and VoIP, I can be my OWN phone company. Woot!
