III UNIX Systems Administrator

Description:
Responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of 
computers running on UNIX and Windows operating systems. Maintains the 
integrity and security of servers and systems. Detects, diagnoses and 
resolves problems associated with servers, workstations, application 
software, and associated peripherals. Serves as a front line interface 
to internal customers with technical questions. Interacts with external 
technology suppliers and internal applications professionals. Requires 
strong operating system background in AIX, Solaris, Windows, and Linux; 
skills in English, both verbal and written;troubleshooting and problem 
solving; and scripting(perl, csh, ksh); Knowledge of Windows 
administration (printing, imaging, support, upgrades). Position also 
requires the ability to work independently. Must be willing to travel 
(Manchester, U.K., Singapore, India, and throughout US). BA/BS and 4-6 
years in information technology, UNIX/Windows Systems Administration
