[TriLUG] KDE apps crash all the time on exit

close out X, then 'mv ~/.kde ~/.kde_bak'.  restart X and see if the 
problem persists.  also try clearing out any files owned by you 
in /tmp, they can sometimes cause weird stuff like this following a 
dirty shutdown.
