Ah, ok.  I had thought that changing the default language would be
like that too.  Glad to hear there are apps to do it.

Ok, I'll work on getting that together.

Well, the example program they were running at the meeting didn't have
a GPSr connected to it.  Instead, it was receiving APRS packets and
displaying information on a local map.  I was thinking we could run
something like Xastir and do something similar.  It could even track
my vehicle, which should hopefully be equipped with a TinyTrak at that
point. (er, assuming they aren't wanting to use the same radio. :-)
