Systems Administrator
Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a System Administrator for its
 Microsoft and Linux based network. They are a leading-edge early-stage
 technology company based near RTP.

Description:
This person will be supporting a 24x7 LAN/WAN and associated
applications. The employee will work as part of the Network Operations
Team, implementing and maintaining the production network and systems
 as well as supporting a local and remote user-base of 15-20 employees.
 This position will report directly to the Director of Network and IS
 and work closely with the Sr. System and Network Engineers.

Location: Morrisville, NC

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience managing Windows 2000/2003 servers:
- Minimum 2 years experience administering Linux servers and file
systems
- Minimum 5 years experience supporting users and documenting
issues/resolutions.
- Must be familiar with 7/24 data center operations
- Required to carry a pager and/or cell phone
- Will be required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Required Skills:
- MS Windows 2000/2003 Server (AD/GC)
- MS Exchange 2000/2003
- MS Office XP/2003
- MS XP Pro Workstation
- Red Hat Linux 8/9 and/or Debian server administration
- TCP/IP Networking
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Skills
The right person for this job will be comfortable working in small team
environments, small companies, and understand the challenges associated
with early-stage companies.
