Hmm, ok.  Bizarre.  In kernel 2.6.7-1.494.2.2 it doesn't work, but in
2.6.6-1.435.2.3 www.usenix.org does come up.  Wouldn't have thought of
it unless that last caller posted that they're using 2.6.6.  That's one
heck of a kernel bug that disables just one site.
