[TriLUG] did RR just drop off...

I did grossly over-generalize on this one. Here's how it happened:

I'm working at a client in Apex, I can get to my home server, np.

I leave the client, drive back to the office and now I cannot contact
my home server.

I've done quite a bit of digging and I contacted someone known to
on "my" part of the RR network and he's working fine yet can't
nmap my house. So something bombed at my house or someone
managed to cut the cable on my road.. again.

Road Runner is a huge complex network with equipment and POPs in
hundreds of locations. It's pretty strange to generalize like that if
you're having a problem. What specifically are you having trouble
doing? I personally am having no problems accessing several services on
the TWC network in the Raleigh area.

Have you checked the Road Runner web site to see if there are any known
outages or maintenance in the section of the network you're trying to
access?

Hint:

"Network Status" link from the main help page.
