Well, I don't think so.  I've been bitten by this one before so I wrote 
a small shell script that runs from cron and checks my external IP.  If 
it changes it sends me an e-mail.  

But that could be it... since my mail might filter that out as a relay.

Or your IP changed?  I would imagine you're probably paying for a static IP,
but it wouldn't be the first time I'd heard of an ISP not properly
maintaining a static IP..

Just another rabbit hole to peer down..
