I bought my used laptop from Dell Financial Services' eBay store...
these are computers returned from leases. They're usually in decent
conditio,; have been tested, often have some warranty still left on
them, etc. I did have to buy an additional battery though, as the
included battery was mostly toast. I got it from
http://www.laptopsforless.com/ -- as Reggie said, they aren't cheap, but
this place had a fair price.
