Second the comments about the WRT54G resorces. Though I couldn't make the presentation, reading the materials pushed me over the top to finally getting one to replace a Netgear and Uniden WiFi routers now in place at the QTH (home for non-hams) and our church.
Really am interested in getting more control and ability to parse logs more to my liking than the Netgear MR814 allows (the Uniden was $10 after rebate, got what I paid for it...).
Our church has an enormous number of attempts at connecting to port 445 now showing on the Linksys BEFSR41 router log. At least the log carries this detail, unlike the Netgear log. Other ports too, and I would like to be able to dump some of these reports under program control to files on the Backup/Restore server.
