Boot off knoppix/Tom's Root boot/partition magic, resize the
partition, then run mkswap on it. If you have space that you'd like
to add to the swap space, run mkswap, add it to /dev/fstab, and run
swapon -a or some variation. You can run swapoff commands to take a
swap file out of the rotation to do this all "online"
