samba numbers are roughly
 nmbd      16mb per user
 smbd       4mb per user
 winbind   16mb per user
 DHCP      2.5mb per user
 DNS       16mb per user
 CUPS      3.5 per user
 Basic OS  256mb per user

(These are from Samba-3 by Example)
