It's amazing what I miss when I'm in training for a day and not looking at
the list.  The top-vs-bottom argument is, of course, complete fluff.  It's
as meaningless as "Put the CD in it's case so that the words are right side
up."

What's worse (and I think someone pointed this out) is that we, as a
community, choose to spend time correcting each other and arguing about such
a thing.  Get with the program people.  There are larger issues than posting
style*, RFC or not.  Try channeling that energy into something that is
actually productive, like assailing emacs.  :-)
