Here we go.
It's really pretty simple.. Although I'll admit I had to call Sprint to
find out what the right steps were (an online Howto I found left out one
important step). So here it is:

- Presuming you are able to telnet into the modem's configuration and access
its configuration menus (by default, 192.168.1.1):

[ Use arrow keys to navigate; spacebar to change values ]

1) Select menu option 1.
  - Set Route IP to No (it will probably be set to Yes)
  - Set Bridge to Yes (it will probably be set to No)

2) Highlight "Press ENTER to Confirm or ESC to cancel" and press Enter to
save your changes and return to the main menu.
3) Select menu option 4.
  - Set Encapsulation to RFC 1483 (it will probably be set to ENET)
  - Set Single User to No (it will probably be set to Yes)

4) Save your changes and return to the main menu.
5) Select menu option 11.
6) Select sub-menu option 1.
  - Set Route: IP to None.
  - Set Bridge to Yes (it will probably be set to No)

7) Save your changes.
8) Select menu option 99 to exit.

It's been a few months since I actually performed this procedure, so I've
forgotten little details like if you have to power-cycle the modem for the
changes to take effect. Let me know if these instructions don't correspond
to what you find when you try it.

Cheers,
~Brian
