[TriLUG] True Story about a rehat 9.0 desktop

My son goes to a private boarding school where he is the only person to 
run linux as his desktop, ( Redhat 9.0) with
open office 1.2, and mozilla 1.7.
Everyone else there runs Windows as there desktop.  My son told me last 
night, " Dad, My xxx finally admitted
that my machine does not get viruses.  I never see you machine here to 
get destructive virus taken off, ever."

Linux has been very helpful in transfering files too large to email.  We 
have a vtund setup and it works great.

We also have use sfmike and sfpeaker to wonderful effect.

Linux has been great for us.
