I have bought two or three at Tiger Direct and had mixed results.  I
discovered that the Manhattan-brand one that they have produced the best
results of what I tested.  I did find that there is a BIG difference
in the USB support of the boxes, of course combined with the USB speed
and support of the computer.

( One of the ones that I tried would work with the computer that it was
first attached to, but take it to another computer and it would insist
that the drive was unformatted. )
