Linux content: Linux is one of several platforms supported by our
product. Also, our development, test and build servers all run on
Linux. The ideal candidate will be comfortable configuring and
running software on a Linux workstation and administering Linux
networks and servers.

Title: Software Engineer
As a software engineer for Web Performance, Inc. you will be joining a small, fast
paced Java development team working on a new web performance testing product. Our
development procedures use time-tested professional practices such as object-oriented
design, automated unit testing and build procedures, while remaining responsive to
changing customer needs.
Job duties will include:
* Taking an existing product design and executing it in Java
* Improving upon existing user interface designs
* Interfacing with existing customers to support the product in the field
Job Requirements:
* Ability to balance short-term objectives with long-term strategic goals
* Experience dealing with the full product lifecycle from conception to
delivery to a customer
* Ability to work in a startup environment
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and
coworkers (written and verbal)
* Significant experience with client-side Java GUI design and implementation
* Significant experience with object-oriented design (2+ yrs) and Java SDK APIs (2+rs)
* Experience with Agile Methologies a plus
* Experience with SWT and Eclipse plug-in development a plus
