+1 for Phil... I work with a lot of people from St. Louis.  I'm getting 
quite tired of the attitude for all of the valid reasons.  As for the 
Midwesterners... bah, I spent high school in central WV.  I learned to 
drive on small twisty roads in the hills that saw real snow!
