[TriLUG] anyone using yellowdog linux?

When my first iBook (g3) was starting to have some odd problems I
loaded yellow dog on it to isolate any potential software issues (turns
out it was the motherboard - which apple replaced for free). As far as
linux goes I found yellow dog to be a good and stable distribution.

I'd try botting knoppix for PPC... I haven't tried that distro myself
but if it's half as good as the Intel version I'd personally go that
route.

I was in the Apple store yesterday and nearly hyperventilated at all
the wonder gadgets.
