[TriLUG] Need recommendation on very lightweight web server

FreeBSD running Apache seems simple to install and configure (and it
seems, somehow, to use less system resources).
What happened to Tux, the kernel-based HTTP server? If it's been
stripped from the 2.6 kernel I suppose you could back-rev to wherever
Tux is and use that as the web server.
At least I think that would be possible (I have not admit, I only
compiled a kernel to use Tux once, and that was more for sh*!$ and
grins then anything else).
