[TriLUG] LDAP rpl. NIS/NIS+

Anyone know of some good resources for information on conversion from
NIS to LDAP? I'd like to do so with a mixed Solaris/Linux environment.
First goal would be only password synchronization, but eventual
replacement of NIS/automounter would be great. 

One of our esteemed members presented a program on this back in 2000 at
NCSA, but I missed that program. Any interest in scheduling such a thing
for a TriLUG meeting?
