[TriLUG] KDE Question

OK, I've got Debian Sarge with all the latest Bells&Whistles installed.

I'm looking at several nifty icon themes in KDE 3.3.2.  

However, any of the Vector themes don't display any icons.  I thought that KDE 
could handle vector icons.  Am I wrong?  Do I need to turn something on, or 
install something non-obvious?

Anyway, if you could point a poor soul in the right direction, it would be 
appreciated.
