Fair warning: this is likely not what you want.

On a hunch, I took a look at the code and wxDialer appears to assume 
that you have a voice modem which has it's own external speaker and mike 
jacks, or a built-in speakerphone (as often found on external modems).  
If that's what you're looking for, awesome, but I don't think it's what 
you described in your previous email.  This program does not posses the 
smarts to do the voice coding / decoding work that I mentioned in my 
previous email.  It is precisely like the "Dialer" program for Windows 
in that respect, which is all well and good if you want to use dialer 
and then pick up the phone (as it's name suggests, it's just a 
"dialer"), or if your modem posses some way (other than through 
all-digital channels) to provide you audio in and out.
