[TriLUG] FTP can't get through iptables (was: iptables for webserver)

For my two cents I'd have to agree with Tanner...  I had the same
problems you are experiencing, plus a few ssh issues.  I was using
Mandrake so it was easy for me to switch over and start using
Shorewall.  It fixed all of my problems (which I probably created) and
the Shorewall GUI helped me learn how to do a lot of other things.
