I will be out of the office from June 30 - July 25, and will only be
checking/replying to email on a limited basis. If you need immediate
assistance contact Information Systems Department Head, Charlene West,
at westc at durhamtech.edu or (919) 686-3321.
Thanks,
-Tom

Problem: need to download and complie a module to get my Quickcam Pro
4k working under Debian Sarge.
Apparent Solution: http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/INSTALL.en
Download the module (which claims the kernel souce is needed)
Untar and uncompress module
apt-get 2.6.8-2-386-source
untar source (kernel source now in /usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8/
cd /home/me/pwc-10.0.7a
make
(throws back the following errors:
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.8-2-386/build SUBDIRS=/home/me/pwc-10.0.7a
modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.8-2-386/build: No such file or directory.
Stop.
make: *** [default] Error 2
)
And no pwc.ko is created.
Obviously I'm missing something fairly straightforward here but I
can't seem to get it with all these ppl yelling at me. Any ideas?
