*TITLE: *
SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE
*BASIC FUNCTION: *
MANAGE MAJOR CREDIT UNION IT INFRASTRUCTURE;
PROVIDE SUPPORT TO BROADER COMMUNITY
1.
Assist VP of Information Technology in the development of branch
network architecture, server(s) setup, data communications,
network interface with wide and local area networks, client
workstations, connectivity to third party real time and batch
exchange of data, and other infrastructure needs to ensure 24/7
full service financial services.
2.
Ensure that all branch data processing, communications, networks,
computers and other infrastructure needs are functioning
efficiently and without error.
3.
Support the Information Technology VP (IT VP) and the IT group in
ensuring that all other non-financial core data processing,
communications, networks, computers and other infrastructure needs
at Self-Help are functioning efficiently and without error.
4.
Make reports and recommendations to the IT VP and the Credit Union
President about new products, services and procedures. Assist in
implementation of the new products or services as appropriate.
5.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the IT VP
or the Credit Union President
*PRINCIPAL QUALIFICATIONS: *
Strong skills/experience in the following: Microsoft server, local and
wide area networking, SQL management and scripts and broad IT
capabilities. Linux experience is a strong plus. Undergraduate degree
preferred.
SCOPE OF JOB
*TITLE: *SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE
*PURPOSE: *ENSURE THAT RETAIL SYSTEMS ARE PROPERLY DESIGNED AND THAT
THEY RUN EFFECTIVELY; PROVIDE BROAD IT DESIGN AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
1.
Assist VP of Information Technology in the development of branch
network architecture, server(s) setup, data communications,
network interface with wide and local area networks, client
workstations, connectivity to third party real time and batch
exchange of data, and other infrastructure needs to ensure 24/7
full service financial services.
2.
Utilize SQL to design scripts, batch processes and other routines
to create monitoring capabilities, custom reports and other back
office functions.
3.
Work closely with the Servicing Systems Manager to ensure that our
primary credit union servicing systems perform according to
management expectations 24/7.
4.
Monitor and troubleshoot servers that perform functions for
servicing, specifically core platform (CAMS and ShareOne), Loan
Manager, MortgageWare, Mas200 and other core servicing systems.
5.
Monitor and troubleshoot local and wide area network connections
that affect user on the respective systems above, including data
interchange, printing, archiving and teller connections.
6.
Support the Servicing Systems Manager to ensure that the core
software system connects to and operates correctly with third
party vendors and/or electronic delivery systems.
7.
As needed, visit retail branches in order to upgrade and/or
troubleshoot systems.
8.
Support management in the development and implementation of new
retail products and services.
