[TriLUG] Laptop Mouse Pad Scrolling

If this is a synaptics touch pad (and I would be stunned if it weren't.)
there is a good driver for X that supports this.  under debian it's
xfree86-driver-synaptics 

I'd be surprised (not stunned) if ubuntu didn't have something similar.
