[TriLUG] I Broke Apache

I broke Apache in Gentoo by upgrading about a week ago via

    emerge --update --deep world

When it rebooted, Apache wouldn't start because apparently Gentoo
changed something about where the config info would be stored. So I
erased the files it was complaining about, and now I get the [ok] when
apache2 starts on boot. However, when I attempt to go to my website via
it's domain name, and even with http://localhost I get

The connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost

Can you help me figure out what's wrong, presumably with my config
files? I will reply to this e-mail in a few minutes with the contents
of a few of my config files, and also strace output. Thanks!
