Hey... I didn't really *force* him to learn vi. He ran into a problem
that he could spend an hour fixing in pico or spend two minutes fixing
in vi. 

After that Ryan vowed to learn vi and he was good to that word!
That earned him both my respect and my trust. (such is the bond forged
by vi :-)
