[TriLUG] linux image for desktop with gps email program

so, if i order up some new toshiba notebook pcs and gps devices, who is 
interested in writing a program to email gps data to the web server 
every 10 minutes if the pc is on?  i need an image built with pxe server 
on separate box to bloop out images and blow away the default winders load.

end users will need thunderbird, firefox and open office in addition to 
the gps app.

the customer is coming over today at 3 pm to discuss details.
