[TriLUG] Using Asterisk to connect to an exisiting PBX

Assuming it supports something common like SIP or even IAX-2 you
shouldn't have any problems peering it to an Asterisk. Also surf around
at voip-info.org, it's full of tips on integration with various legacy
components. As for the functionality being extended, it all depends on
your dialplan and the extensibility of your existing system.
