Mark,

I have found mopst external serial modems work ery nice.  I personally
have used Diamond Supra serial modems.  Look at pricewatch.com   Search
for external serial modems  there are quite a few for under $30
www.earXS.com is a very good dealer and tehy ahve them for $26.
