[TriLUG] IMAP Shared Folders

Gang:

If this is a stupid post and I am missing something obvious, please  
feel free to point me at the relevant URLs.

I want to set up some shared folders on an IMAP server. I was  
thinking about just symbolically linking to each person's mail  
directory on the server to the same directory. But this would allow  
someone to accidentally delete mail from the directory, perhaps mail  
they did add to it.

How do you solve the shared folder problem, without using Zimbra or  
Exchange? I plan to move to Zimbra in the future, but I'm looking for  
something quick and dirty at the moment.
