[TriLUG] Stupid VI question

So, I'm trying to grok VI, really I am.

The other day I had a file of e-mail addresses, separated by commas. I
wanted to put each one on it's own line.

So I fired up vi(m) figuring this would be easy, just do a global
change of comma to new line with something like:

:%s/,/*nl*/g

I couldn't figure out how to represent a new line in the substitution.
Surely this is possible, isn't it? What's the right thing to replace *nl*?
