Interesting. Since nothing's actually broken, I think I'll leave well
enough alone and let the Debian package mantainers sort this out. I just had
to see what was going on since I can't leave an error that that alone.

Not as helpful as I had hoped. Perhaps it is this bug:

It's missing a dependency on libc6 >= 2.3.5-12
Note that packages.debian.org is down. You can use pdo.debian.net
instead.
