IIRC, ol' Jeff was a second generation IBMer working in Atlanta when
he tried standup comedy on a dare.

His daddy was a fairly high-level IBM executive, and while I've run
into quite a few IBM executives in my time of questionable
intelligence, I can't recall any that I'd characterize as a redneck.
