Asus 500g delux microcode will install and boot on a v.2 OpenWRT box.
Neato.  Or "oops".  Maybe both.  What is the big deal here?  The Asus code
supports a great deal more features and software gizmos.  But I'm going to
put Linksys code back on it before it explodes.
