It's usually 20-something percent humidity and mid-high 70's in my 
apartment, even with the windows wide open (according to the LCD 
temp/humidity monitor I have)...is there a recommended level?

synthetic blanket but I doubt it will oblige...however I do remember 
blankets I had as a kid doing that....

So does this require buying distilled water?  Can I get away with tap 
water or is that filtered?
