[TriLUG] Kernel oops after upgrade in Debian

I didn't need to do anything special.  :-)  I went back to aptitude, selected 
the kernel-image-2.6-486 "transition" package and rebooted.  I selected the 
new kernel when GRUB came up.  System booted fine with no kernel Oops.
