[TriLUG] Disappearing mouse cursor

I have seen the same problem, usually about once a week on my D600
laptop. It also has an ATI video card.

ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R250 Lf [FireGL 9 000] (rev 02)

I am running Gnome with Fedora Core 4.
