[TriLUG] does pump need an ip adderss to transmit a discover

I am trying to get pump to work, but it will not seem to transmit a discover
packet.  The only way I can get it
to transmit a discover packet if is I give the interface a bogus ip address,
and then it works fine.


Any comments.
