The server seems primarily for the Student Information System and the
associated applications (eSIS, eMARC, SAM). Maybe someone with domain
knowledge of these applications will be able to explain the
requirements better.

WCPSS has also implemented Oracle 11i ERP Suite which includes GL,
Budgeting, Accounts payable, Receivable, Fixed Assets, Purchasing,
Inventory, HR & Payroll, Time & Attendance, etc.

They had been running this on 2 IBM RS6000's (Dev & Prod) and I am not
sure whether it is these applications which are also being migrated to
the new server.

They have other applications for Traffic management, logistics, SAS,
etc. Maybe they are planning to consolidate all this also on the
server.
