[TriLUG] Linksys WRT54G is once more Linux capable!

Rumor has it that those crazy guys at Cisco are working on a new product
to be sold under the Linksys line that includes some of the cool IOS
features found in the big boy routers - namely QoS and VLANs.  The
target market is said to be gamers and pro-sumers.  No one I spoke with
would confirm or deny having taken inspiration from the Linux hackers
work on Linksys to date.  One thing seems pretty clear though.  It will
retain a familiar Linksys idiot-proof GUI and not a Cisco CLI. 

Anyway, it is a pretty sure bet that this new product will be beefier,
so no matter what operating system it ships with it will be a great
platform for tinkering.
