I don't think you'd do it in kudzu.  Assuming it's a redhat-like distro,
I think you'd just do:

cat <<END >/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
ONBOOT=yes
TYPE=Ethernet
END

...and I think it will Do The Right Thing.
