[TriLUG] Yahoo videos

My apologies. You can thank the VPN for being down last night (I had no
way to get this post until this morning). 

I did confirm it works. Here's what you need to do to get it functional
in Firefox.

- Install mplayer
- Install mplayerplugin-in
- Check to make sure they're showing up in Firefox by going to
about:plugins
- Install the GreaseMonkey Firefox Extension:
http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/
- Exit Firefox, and re-open.
- Install pkLaunch: http://www.pooyak.com/p/pklaunch/ (Right click over
"Open pklaunch-0.8.user.js" and select Install User Script). Or, click
on the link, go to Tools > Install User Script
- Click on any music video at Yahoo Music (Including the one you
mentioned in this post).

Also, if you decide that you can't do without watching the video at
least a thousand times more, then: 

- Install mencoder
- After you click on the music video, right click in the video and
select Copy Url.
- Open a terminal with a paste option (gnome-terminal / konsole ...etc).
- In the terminal window, use the following command: mencoder -ovc copy
-oac copy -o myvideo.wmv "paste_the_link_here", and press Enter. (YMMV,
so try .avi if .wmv does not work for you).
- Rinse, wash, repeat.
 
For those using Gentoo, if you'd like to see my /etc/make.conf, I'd be
glad to share :).
