blackdown-jdk, sun-jdk, ibm-jdk-bin, compaq-jdk, jrockit-jdk-bin are all
ones available in gentoo. however for sun-jdk, you have to download it
from sun's website, and put it in your /usr/portage/distfiles directory.

i currently use a mix of blackdown and sun.
